Welcome to edenBH. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, posting a listing, or using any services provided by edenBH, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration and Security

Users are permitted to maintain only one account per person. Any duplicate accounts or accounts sharing the same email address will be automatically merged or suspended. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and are liable for any activity conducted under your account.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

• Students: You agree to provide accurate information when making booking requests and to respect the rules and policies of the boarding houses you book.
• Landlords & Sellers: You are responsible for ensuring that your listings and products are accurately described, available, and comply with local laws. You must not post misleading or fraudulent information.

4. Fees and Payments

edenBH charges a fixed listing fee (e.g., ZMW 100) for boarding houses and marketplace products. These fees are non-refundable once the listing is approved. Payments are processed externally via MTN MoMo, and you must provide a valid screenshot as proof of payment.

5. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of the content you post on edenBH (images, descriptions, etc.). However, you grant us a license to display this content on our platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that is inappropriate, offensive, or violates these terms without prior notice.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate any of these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your actions harm the reputation of edenBH or its users.

7. Limitation of Liability

edenBH acts solely as a platform to connect students with landlords and sellers. We do not own, manage, or operate any of the properties or products listed. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between users.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Information you provide during registration and usage will be handled securely in accordance with the Zambia Data Protection Act (No. 3 of 2021). We only collect personal data required for the operation of this platform with your explicit consent. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.

9. Legal Compliance and Cyber Security

edenBH operates in strict compliance with the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act (No. 2 of 2021). We actively monitor the platform to prevent cyber fraud, identity theft, and malicious activities. Users found engaging in such activities will have their accounts terminated immediately and may be reported to the relevant Zambian authorities.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Your continued use of edenBH after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
